When Randy Hain joined the management team of Bell Oaks Executive Search in 1999, he quickly saw that they were not screening applicants for mental toughness, maturity and ability to handle adversity. He felt that a psychological assessment tool would help improve candidate selection.

Trove was hired to implement a process for using the T-MAP Insight System to screen applicants. Once Trove got the process going, Bell Oaks’ recruiters were trained to use the T-MAP themselves. “I have now used the tool about 90-100 times and feel very comfortable with it,” says Hain.

Through using the T-MAP, Hain feels that he has become a much better interviewer because the tool helps him focus on the right interview questions for each candidate. Bell Oaks’ retention rates have increased dramatically since adopting the T-MAP.
